Sparkle, Dazzle, and a Splash of .... Well water

After a lot of visiting time, bike rides, and swimming it was time for my grandma to go back home. So, on the last day of her visit we all packed ourselves in a car or actually two cars and drove down to Roswell. We got there and first thing we did was go to .... You are never going to guess, here is a hint we had five starving kids with a hunger for a playground. That's right the one the only Mcdonalds! After having to go to Mcdonalds we went to the bottomless lakes. Which by the way makes no since because it has a bottom and there is only one so techinally it is a very deep lake that perspectively has no bottom. But I guess that doesn't fit the sign and isn't quite as catchy. Anyway, back to the subject at hand, which also is another phrase that makes no since. We swam there for two hours but then my grandma had to go home after she left we swam more and went back home. Right now we are in the middle of VBS which I told you about in an earlier post. I can't wait for Thursday because I am getting my hair streaked golden brown.

P.S. We are in the process of selling our house and so our house is under contract and we are trying to buy a house so fingers crossed! Got to go my brother is standing over my shoulder impatiently waiting for his turn to blog on his blog Imagine 2016 bye.

Camping in the Backyard

Today, I had a lot of relatives come and stay. First, my Uncle Bob and Aunt Debra came to visit for two days on the first day they came to take pictures and the next day. My grandma came to and we soon realized that in our 1,000 square foot house it was not going to work. So all the kids were put in tents In the backyard! It was really fun me, my cousin, and my sister stayed up half the night whispering and giggling while the "perfect" boys went to sleep come on your in the backyard at night alone it's a tradition. I can't wait to spend another night out there! Gotta go my uncle and aunt are leaving.

Wet, Wild, and Hot

In the desert it can get very hot, especially in the summer, and it just so happens to be summer here. But the heat means we are even closer to one of the biggest events of the summer, VBS!VBS means Vacation Bible School. You might be thinking ," School in the middle of the of the summer are you crazy?". At VBS you don't sit at desks taking notes for a big test all day like school, you are in a classroom and you do have teachers and classmates but it is never dull! You play games, have snacks, learn about god, and most years we get to dump Gatorade containers on the teachers and Helpers heads. We have water balloon fights and make lots of friends. I have gone for almost six years and have always loved going, and I'm not just saying that because my dad is the director and my mom is a teacher and they are both probably going to read this sometime it is really fun! It happens June 13-17 for going into Kindergarten through starting 6th grade at Blodgett Street Baptist Church!

Hobbies, flaws, and family

Hi it's me again.Last time I posted, I told you, I loved to read, write, run, and play most sports even though I have horrible coordination. I am working on a few books right now. I always have a couple books to write at one time, in case I get writer's block on one book.I try to start one book at a time and stay focused but Something sparks my imagination and a book starts forming in my mind.I love love to read and reading gives me two things my own little world and lots of different styles and types of writing to chose from. I love running and sports because they clear my head and they are a healthy allternative to punching a pillow. I also like to sit, talk, or just hangout. I have a brother, a sister, a cousin like a brother, a cousin like a sister, a mom, and a dad and with a 1,000 square foot house there's always someone nearby!

Sparkling, dazzling, shining

Hi my name is Sarah, you might be wondering about the name of my blog and where it came from.I named it Sparkle,Dazzle, and a splash of shine because my life is full of sparkle, dazzle, and there is always a bit of shine or a lot of shine because, we live in the dessert where the sun is practically always shining and the moon is hot too! I live in a small town in New Mexico with my brother, sister, two cousins, mom,and my dad in a 1,000 square foot house with one bathroom so it is kind of squishy. I love to read, write, run, and play most sports although I have horrible coordination. My favorite foods are chocolate, grilled cheese sandwiches, and cookie dough ice cream. That is a small piece of my sparkling, dazzling, and shining life!
